A couple more layouts

I have very few photos of my late mother, so I thought it was about time I preserved what I have. I believe this photo was taken of mum in her late teens, she made the dress that she was wearing. Mum was a very skilled dress maker and indeed very good at all crafts. In a couple of weeks it will be 31 years since she passed away.
I have used Kaiser papers and embellishments apart from the rubons which are from TLC. Taylor used to dance with the Garrick-Stewart school of Highland dancing and this was her first kilt. The tartan came from Scotland and this was the smallest kilt that the dress maker had made the socks were also hand knitted. The braid around the jacket also came from Scotland, Taylor's grandmother got it for her when she was on holidays in Scotland.

I have used the "travelin" hot fudge kit from TLC, inked the edges of the patterened papers, sanded around the photos that are not matted and stamped the images of a footballer over the black cardstock. The journalling reads - I love the winning. I can take the losing. but most of all I love to play. Brandon loves his football.
Thanks for looking

Great layouts Karen - you are so like your mother. Don't you love that Kaisercraft range! Taylor looks so cute in her kilt.
